I'm Kate, and I'm originally from the Philadelphia/Delaware area. I made Charleston my home in 2014, drawn to its warm weather and captivating charm. There are many favorite spots to walk downtown. Among those, I highly recommend Philadelphia Alley, historically a prime spot for duels to take place, and Chalmers St, adorned with cobblestones and quaint homes in the French Quarter. Regarding dining, FIG is my top choice to celebrate big life celebrations, while Xiao Bao Biscuit is perfect for casual gatherings with loved ones. The multitude of amazing food our city offers can't be beat! Traveling ignites my soul. One cherished memory is wandering a well-worn path from Fira to Oia in Santorini, Greece, capturing the beauty of quaint doorways and windows along the way, truly spiritual. Through music and art, I find so much inspiration for my work. I often stop into the Robert Lange Studios downtown to see the newest additions of contemporary art.
